Junny’s Junny Ann Hibbert creates custom, one-of-a-kind pieces as a tribute to her hometown of Harlem. She draws inspiration from her mother, who was a seamstress and would create custom patterns from newspapers for Hibbert and her siblings to wear - Mama The Collection.
Mama the Collection represents the cyclical journey through womanhood inspired by the image and imagination of one's mother, the dreams of the adolescent girl, the young woman searching for meaning, and the grown woman being, becoming, liberated and celebrated. The collection is bold, sexy, sensual, intelligent, daring, eclectic and inclusive.
